If you are at UVA and would like to visit our offices we are located in the
Astronomy Building, Room 110.
Directions to UVA Army ROTC Department, if you are coming from the:
East (Richmond):
I64 West to Exit 120 (5th Street). At light take a right onto 5th Street. At
the second traffic light take a left onto Harris Street. At the three-way stop
make a right onto Jefferson Park Avenue (JPA). Continue straight on JPA. At
light, bear right, staying on JPA. At the next light, make a left and then an
immediate left onto Stadium Road. Take the next right onto Whitehead Rd. At the
next stop sign, turn right onto Alderman Road. Proceed through the traffic
light and take the next left onto Leake Rd. This is the Army ROTC parking
lot.
West (I-81, Staunton):
I64 East to Exit 118B (Rt 29 North Business) to first Charlottesville exit
(Rt 29 Business/Fontaine). Take a right onto Fontaine Avenue. Merge into left
lane. Stay straight through second light. Continue on Jefferson Park Avenue
(JPA) to light, make a left and then an immediate left onto Stadium Road. Take
the next right onto Whitehead Rd. At the next stop sign, turn right onto
Alderman Road. Proceed through the traffic light and take the next left onto
Leake Rd. This is the Army ROTC parking lot.
North (Washington DC):
Follow Route 29 South (which eventually becomes Emmet Street) to Stadium
Road; On Emmet Street, stay in the right lane, bear right on Stadium Road. Take
the next right onto Whitehead Rd. At the next stop sign, turn right onto
Alderman Road. Proceed through the traffic light and take the next left onto
Leake Rd. This is the Army ROTC parking lot.
South (Lynchburg):
Route 29 North to first Charlottesville exit. Take a right onto Fontaine
Avenue; merge into left lane. Stay straight through second light. Continue on
Jefferson Park Avenue (JPA) to light, make a left and then an immediate left
onto Stadium Road. Take the next right onto Whitehead Rd. At the next stop
sign, turn right onto Alderman Road. Proceed through the traffic light and take
the next left onto Leake Rd. This is the Army ROTC parking lot.
