Army ROTC has been a tradition at the University of California, Berkeley since its inception under the Morrill Land Grant Act in 18708. Today, Army ROTC is part of the University of California, Berkeley’s Letters and Sciences Department and is dedicated to fulfilling the unique aspect of training the next generation of the Army’s Scholar-Leaders.
