LTC Robert S. Levis
Professor of Military Science
LTC Robert Levis is a native of Chicago and was commissioned as a Finance
officer through the ROTC program at the University of Iowa in 1987. He holds a
Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the
University of Iowa and a Masters of Business Administration from Syracuse
University. He has held various command and staff positions serving in numerous
locations across the United States as well as Panama, Germany, England, and the
Middle East. LTC Levis served in Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert
Shield/Storm. His awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the
Meritorious Service Medal (4), and the Parachute Badge. His is married and has
4 children.

MAJ Paul Stock
Battalion Executive Officer
MAJ Stock is a Field Artillery officer with eight years experience teaching
ROTC courses. He has a B.S. degree in Economics, a MBA degree, and a PhD in
Economic Education. MAJ Stock has been a Battery XO, Battery Commander,
Division Fire Support Officer, and a Corps Force Modernization Officer. His
assignments include Fort Sill, Fort Hood, and Korea. MAJ Stock teaches the MS
II (Sophomore) ROTC course.

MAJ Daniel Thiebaud
Recruiting Operations Officer
A 1989 graduate of Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Agribusiness,
Major Thiebaud was branched active duty Army Aviation. Major Thiebaud is
qualified in the UH-1, AH-1F, and the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. He is also
airborne and air assault qualified. He has been at Tarleton since 2003 and is
the Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO) and MS I (Freshmen) Instructor. He has
three children and resides in Dublin, TX.

MAJ Christopher Jay
Assistant Professor of Military Science (Central-Texas campus)
MAJ Jay enlisted in the Army in 1986 and served in Ranger and Special Forces
units until his commissioning in 1995. As an officer, he has served as a
Squadron Targeting Officer, Fire Direction Officer, Platoon Leader, Company
Fire Support Officer, and a Special Forces Detachment Commander. His awards
include the Expert Infantryman Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantry
Badge, Ranger Tab, Special Forces Tab, and the Bronze Star. He received his
Bachelors degree in Biology from Texas State University. MAJ Jay is the
Assistant Professor of Military Science at the Central-Texas campus in Killeen,
TX.

MSG Lawrence Richardson
Senior Military Science Instructor (Central-Texas campus)
Master Sergeant Richardson entered Military service from Boca Raton, Florida
in April of 1983. He received basic and advanced individual training at Fort
Benning, Georgia. He has served Two overseas tours to Germany and his stateside
assignments include Fort Hood and Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of
the Bradley Master Gunner Course and the Advanced NCO Course. His highest
Decoration is The Bronze Star medal for combat action during Operation Desert
Shield/Storm. MSG Richardson is currently assigned as The Senior Military
Instructor for the Tarleton State University ROTC program. He teaches Freshmen
and Sophomore level ROTC courses at the Central-Texas campus in Killeen.

SFC Mark Patterson
Military Science Instructor
SFC Patterson is a Combat Engineer, MOS 12B4H. His military schooling
includes the Advanced NCO Course, Basic NCO Course, Primary leadership
Development Course, and Combat Lifesavers Course. His assignments include
Germany, Fort Leonard Wood, Korea, and Fort Riley, Kansas. His awards include
the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the
Army Achievement Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait
Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Southwest Asia Service Medal, NCO Professional
Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism
Expeditionary Medal, Korean Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Overseas
Service Ribbon (3), Army Service Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon, Good
Conduct Medal (4), Expert 16A2, Two combat strips, and Combat Action Badge. SFC
Patterson served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom
II. SFC Patterson resides in Stephenville with his wife and two sons. His
hobbies include studying piano and playing basketball.

Ms. Stacy Collier
Human Resource Administrator (Central-Texas campus)
Stacy is the Human Resource Administrator for the Tarleton State University
– Central Texas campus in Killeen, TX. She and her husband, 1SG Glenn Collier,
are native Texans and have two sons, Grant and Blake.

Mr. Troy Ross
Supply Technician
Mr. Ross joined the Army National Guard when he was 17 years old. He
enlisted under the Split Training Option, so he went to Basic Training between
his Junior and Senior years of high school. He went to Advanced Individual
Training and Airborne School after he graduated from high school. His first
unit was the 19th Special Forces Group. Mr. Ross has served with Special
Forces, Engineers, and Aviators. He was also a recruiter for 2 ½ years. The
majority of Mr. Ross’ military service was in the logistics and supply area.
Mr. Ross was medically retired from the military in December 2004. He has been
the Supply Technician at Tarleton State University since February 2005. He
resides in Stephenville with his wife and 4 children.

Stephanie Wells
Department Secretary
Ms. Wells has ten years experience in the higher education environment as an
Administrative Assistant. She has an Associates degree in Applied Science from
Tarrant County College. Her family moved to the Stephenville area in June
2005.
