Teamwork and Camaraderie.
ROTC cadets participate in two Field Training Exercises (FTXs) per school year. These FTXs are designed to train and evaluate each cadet’s leadership potential. Other activities during a FTX include Squad-sized exercises and Leadership Reaction Courses. FTXs help to build teamwork and camaraderie among the ROTC students.

"The best part of the ROTC program for me is the teamwork and sense of camaraderie that develops between the cadets. Everybody looks out for each other. We really encourage one another. Just when I think I can't complete an obstacle or swim another lap, somebody is right there next to me telling me I can and pushing me to do my best. There is a strong example set by the upperclassmen in the ROTC program. I feel a real sense of purpose by striving to be a commissioned officer in the United States Army."
