The MacArthur Award

The MacArthur Award, given jointly by the MacArthur Foundation inNorfolk, Va., and the commander of the U.S. Army Cadet Command, designates SFA as the top-performing unit from a medium sized school in the Western region. The region comprises 30 states and territories. Of the 271 institutions in the entire nation, SFA was ranked fourth for the number and quality of officers commissioned in 2003.
