CDT Lee

I have tried to be very active within the ROTC program, and I have particularly enjoyed being a member of the Ranger Challenge Team.  I have been on the team for the past two years and in the fall I will be joining the team once again as its Executive Officer.  ROTC has allowed me to stay active over the summer as well.   After my freshman year I was able to attend both Air Assault School and the Airborne School.  Currently, I am studying abroad in the United Arab Emirates.  The Army was able to pay for my tuition at the American University in Dubai, as well as my roundtrip airfare.  The ROTC program has given me some of the coolest memories I will have for the rest of my life.  It is by far the best decision I have made during my college career and I promise that if you are up to the challenge, you will not be disappointed with the results.

CDT Holl

My name id Cadet Holl and I am a junior in the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations. I am a contracted, four year scholarship cadet and have loved every moment in ROTC. The past two years have been a roller-coaster of excitement and fun coupled with hardships and challenges. Seton Hall Army ROTC is another great aspect of any Pirate Adventure at Seton Hall.

While in ROTC I have been able to soar in choppers, rappel from towers, and learn what it takes to become a United States soldier. This year I have been given the task of heading up the Fundraising Committee and been elected commanding officer of the Pershing Rifles Club. More importantly, ROTC gives all cadets the chance to meet amazing people from Seton Hall and surrounding colleges. The friends and "family", the espiri de corps is unbelievable in Task Force Pirate and is to me, the strongest asset and reason I am proud to be a part of Army ROTC.

CDT Kishun

Army ROTC has brought out and remains bringing out many positive aspects within me. It especially improves my mind during field exercises and instills motivation and confidence during the physical portion. As a nursing cadet, I have experienced nothing but drive from my mentors to become the best Army Nurse there is. Although it has only been a year since I joined the program I was given the opportunity to participate in the many activities and teams in ROTC. My true passion in the program in is participating in the Ranger Team. Through this I was also able to push myself into levels that I, myself never thought was possible. I have also participated in numerous color guards, from the Jets, Nets, Veteran’s day assemblies to Seton Hall basketball games.  I was given the opportunity to help recruit upcoming freshmen for the fall, and I am also the 1SGT for the Pershing Rifle team on campus. ROTC has made me a well rounded person. It has also made me a wiser and stronger person. With the leadership qualities learned through this first year I am also volunteering as a cadre in the JROTC JCLC Summer Camp. It has only been the first year and the program has left a mark on me, I can’t imagine what will happen within the next few years.
