Welcome to Seton Hall’s ROTC Task Force Pirate Battalion! This program is designed to develop the necessary tools and skills needed for you to have a successful future, in both the competitive worlds of military and civilian environment. Attain experience problem solving on your feet, strategic planning in a crunch, and complex management skills. You will be surrounded by a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds and experience.
SETON HALL CAMPUS
Seton Hall's 58-acre campus located in the rural town of South Orange, New Jersey, allows for perfect training resources and terrain. The campus is also only 14 miles from Manhattan. The University is home to eight schools, over 60 majors and about 10,000 students.
OPPORTUNITIES
Task Force Pirate ROTC sends a number of qualified cadets to special training schools each year. Demonstrate your athletic, academic, and tactical abilities, and you may earn yourself a slot at:
- Airborne School
- Air Assault School
- Northern Warfare School
- Mountain Warfare School
- Internships at the Pentagon, Intelligence/ Law Enforcement Agencies, & Active Duty Divisions

Faculty and Staff
Prepare to be challenged by our outstanding faculty who bring their experience and vast knowledge of the military to Task Force Pirate’s training. Not only will you learn current technical and tactical knowledge in the classroom, but our staff will supervise as you apply your knowledge to practical exercises. The faculty at Seton Hall ensures you have the latest knowledge and skills that can be applied to today’s evolving society, while teaching management theories that have been tried and tested for decades. It is our staff’s diverse background, years of experience, and sincere concern for the growth and training for each cadet that makes our Battalion unique.

Cadet Profiles
Seton Hall ROTC Cadets are the best and brightest amongst their collegiate peers. Every cadet is a scholar, athlete, and leader. Cadets here at Seton Hall are very active. Not only do they work hard in class and in ROTC, but they find time to actively participate in college life. Our cadets find time to be part of clubs, fraternities, intramural athletics, and volunteer to help those in need. Seton Hall ROTC Cadets are a remarkable group of young men and women that inspire others to follow in their example.

Alumni Profiles
Seton Hall ROTC alumni are a distinguished group of individuals. Alumni have served heroically in Vietnam, become generals, and earned the Medal of Honor. Many have gone on and succeeded in corporate America. Today, many alumni are serving the nation in the Global War on Terror.
