LTC Patterson joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 2008. His previous assignments include Germany, Fort Bragg, Hawaii, and Fort Hood. CPT Blachowski joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 2008. She has been a member of the New Jersey National Guard for the last 13 years and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II in 2004.

CPT Dobis joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 2008. He recently returned from Iraq where he served as an Infantry Platoon Leader with the 2nd ID.

MSG Smith joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 2008. He recently returned from deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also has a one year deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan.

SFC McNulty joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 2007. He has 3 combat tours, one with the 7th ID in support of Operation Just Cause in 1989 in Panama, and two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 101st Airborne.

SGT Wiegers is a New Jersey National Guard Recruiter that works in the ROTC building. The Rutgers ROTC Program enjoys a great relationship with the National Guard, and the financial benefits they have to offer sometimes exceed those of a Cadet Command scholarship. Mrs. Lawrence joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 1998 and works to provide all of the critical help and guidance to our cadets as they negotiate college life.

Mr. Mendelson joined the Scarlet Knight Battalion in 2006 as a COMTEK employee. He is also a First Sergeant in the retired reserves, and here at Rutgers he works with the Recruiting Officer to process scholarships and enrollment in the ROTC program here at Rutgers.
