The Demon Battalion is well known for the quality of its cadets and cadre, the support of the university, and its excellent training facilities and classrooms.  The battalion has its own computer laboratories, health fitness room and lounge with large screen TV and snacks for cadets use.



Battalion History

Army ROTC has been a part of Northwestern State University since 1950 and is still thriving more than 50 years later.



Faculty and Staff

Northwestern State University Demon Battalion has a highly qualified staff to assist the cadets in their transformation from student to officer.  Their doors are always open.  The battalion is a home away from home where cadets feel welcome amongst their friends and peers.
