The Army ROTC program is only as strong as its instructors. That's why we provide such highly qualified faculty and staff for Cadets. See the kind of varied and interesting experiences instructors have had that make them the best ROTC faculty and staff.

Lieutenant Colonel Steve Ashpes

Professor of Military Science

An Active Duty Military Intelligence Officer who assumed Professor of Military Science Duties in August 2008.  LTC Ashpes also serves as the Department Chair and primary instructor for our MS IVs (seniors).








Captain William Stanley

Assistant Professor or Military Science

A United States Army Reserve Logistician who assumed duties as the Departments training officer in November 2006.  CPT Stanley instructs basic course Cadets.








Captain Eric Weyenberg

Assistant Professor or Military Science

An active duty Air Defense Officer that assumed duties in June 2006.  Serves as the Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO) and Military History Instructor.








Sergeant First Class Richard Lewis

Military Science Instructor

An Active Duty Infantry Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) assumed duties as the Battalion Training NCO in May 2008.  SFC(P) Lewis is our primary instructor for MS IIIs (juniors) and assists with basic course Cadets.








Ms. Kim Gage

Human Resource Assistant (HRA)

A retired Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) who assumed duties as the HRA in June 2005.  Ms. Gage manages all Cadet and Cadre personnel and administrative actions.








Mr. Craig Lancaster

Supply Technician

A former Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) who assumed duties as the supply technician in August 2008.  Mr. Lancaster manages supply, procurement and many of the budgetary functions for the unit.
