MG (Ret) Henry W. Stratman

Highest Ranking Soldier to Have Been Commissioned Through Lincoln University Army ROTC

MG (Ret) Henry Stratman was commissioned in 1972 from Lincoln University. After 33 years of service, General Stratman remains involved in his local community providing inspiration and awareness for military families.








BG (Ret) Donald L. Scott

Deputy Librarian of Congress

BG (Ret) Scott was commissioned from Lincoln University in 1960. After 31 years of distinguished service, General Scott retired from active duty in 1991. As a way to give back to his alma mater, he has established an ROTC scholarship fund at Lincoln.








Dr. James Frank

First Lincoln Student to Become University President

Dr. Frank was commissioned from Lincoln University in 1953. He has served LU as an assistant professor of health and physical education and head basketball coach, before later returning to LU to become University President.
