"Being a member of the Howard University Bison Battalion has been a great pleasure. The team effort and leadership displayed by both the cadet staff and their subordinates is of very high standard. We as a team work together to complete very task/mission given to use in an effective manner. Growing through the program is not only useful and helpful in ROTC but also in your everyday life experiences, i.e. I know I can call on my mentor (CDT/LTC Lane) for support in any field I may be having difficulties in, not to exclude any of the cadre members. ROTC challenges me to test the limits of obstacles and exceed them with honors.”
