	William G. Swafford receives The Donald W. Hoffman Leadership Award
	The Donald W. Hoffman Leadership Award is presented each year to the graduating MSIV who has made the greatest contribution and commitment to the program. They have excelled both militarily and academically, and are the embodiment of leadership, character, dedication, service and citizenship. They stand out amongst the thousands of young Americans of the highest caliber who each year step forward and take charge of America’s most valuable resource, its sons and daughters. Today they will receive a ceremonial saber, symbolic of past victories, and representative of the struggle we face today, and of future battles yet unfought. The award is presented annually by Mrs. Hoffman.
