LTG Dubik
Class of 1971
LTG Dubik is a 1971 Gannon graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. He was commissioned into the Infantry branch. He assumed command of the Multi National Security Transition Command –Iraq in June of 2007. Previously he was the Commanding General of I Corps and Fort Lewis, WA.

MAJ Jeremy McGarry
Class of 1995
MAJ McGarry is a graduate of Gannon University and earned a commission in the USAR in 1995 branched Quartermaster. He currently serves as HHC Commander at the 475th Group in Farrel, PA and is also an Electrical Engineer for General Electric Co. in Erie, PA.

Class of 1999
CPT Pasquini is Gannon Graduate commissioned in 1999 and branched Signal Corps. She was deployed in 2006 and currently on active duty stationed at the University of Arizona.

1LT Simecek
Class of 2003
1LT Simecek is a 2003 Gannon graduate branched in the Medical Service Corps as a Physical Therapist. She is married and has two boys. She is currently the assistant chief of the Physical Therapy clinic at Fort Knox, KY.

CPT Ola
Class of 2004
CPT Ola is a 2004 Gannon graduate and is a Military Intelligence officer. He was stationed with the 513th MI Brigade at Fort Gordon, GA and served as the HHC executive officer, HUMINT platoon leader, Intel systems platoon leader and assistant S3. He later PCS’d to Ft Riley and is currently deployed as an Intelligence trainer for an Iraqi Brigade MiTT team near Mosul, Iraq. Cadets interested in Military Intelligence are encouraged to contact him.

CPT James Nemec
Class of 2004
CPT Nemec is a 2004 Gannon graduate and is branched Field Artillery. Upon graduation from Gannon he served for two months as a Gold Bar Recruiter before going to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma for OBC, and was consequently assigned at Ft. Sill on the FORSCOM side of post. He spent 3 months as a MLRS platoon leader before being sent to a Paladin Battalion and deploying to Iraq as a Convoy Escort Platoon Leader in Mosul. CPT Nemec attended the Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course in the fall of 2007 and was then assigned to the Division Headquarters, 10th Mountain Division, Ft. Drum, NY where he deployed to Iraq from May 08 to May 09. On his next assignment he will serve as the Battalion Fire Support Officer and eventually Battery Commander for 3rd Brigade Combat Team. He is married to his wife, Lindsay and has one daughter, Maddie. They are expecting their second child in February 2010.

1LT Maurer
Class of 2005
2005 Gannon graduate, branched Field Artillery and stationed with 4th Brigade Fires, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. He is currently serving in Iraq and is married. Mrs. Maurer is a Penn State Behrend 2008 grad recently branched in the Chemical Corps.

Class of 2005
1LT Maurelli is a 2005 Mercyhurst College graduate and Engineer officer. He served for two years as a platoon leader in a Reserve combat heavy company in Reading, PA. He is currently serving as an AGR HHC operations officer for the 372nd Engineer Brigade at Fort Snelling, MN. Cadets interested in the Engineers, Reserves, or the AGR program are encouraged to contact him.

CPT Cieslak
Class of 2005
CPT Cieslak is a 2005 Gannon graduate and is a Public Affairs Officer. He currently is a Task Force Public Affairs Officer with Task Force Protector, deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He served in Iraq from August 2006 to November 2007. He is married to Mrs. Cieslak who is also a Gannon grad and they have a 3-year old son and a 1-year old daughter.

1LT Daw
Class of 2005
1LT Daw is a 2005 Gannon graduate and branched Military Police in the Pennsylvania National Guard. She served as an MP Platoon Leader with the Special Troops Battalion, 2BCT, 28ID, in Johnston, PA. She is currently the Brigade Provost Marshal for the 2nd BCT and is attending nursing school to become an Army Nurse. Questions about the Military Police are welcome.

2LT Stewart is a 2008 Gannon University graduate and is an Army Nurse. She became a registered nurse in April 2009. She is currently stationed at Fort Gordon, GA and is a member of the Junior Officer Council. Cadets interested in nursing are encouraged to contact her.

Class of 2009
2LT McClellan is a 2009 Mercyhurst College graduate and is currently on active duty at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine. Upon completion, he will enter into the Medical Corp Branch as an Army physician.
