LTC Beougher, David
Professor of Military Science
Personal:
LTC Beougher moved to Saline, Michigan in June of 2007 to assume duty as the Professor of Military Science for the Eastern Michigan University Army ROTC Department. He is accompanied by his wife of 13 years, Marie, and their four children: Judson, Brent, Corey Rose, and Toby.
Civilian Education:
Bachelors from Vanderbilt University (1990)
Masters (1999) and Ph.D. (2007) from Pennsylvania State University.

Military Assignments:
LTC Beougher has worked as a Deputy G3 Planner. Transportation Battalion Executive Officer, Battalion S3, Corps Support Battalion Assistant SPO, Company Commander, MCT Commander, Company XO and Platoon Leader as well as teaching in the History Department at West Point.
He has served in the 2nd Infantry Division, the 10th Mountain Division, the 1st Cavalry Division and the 3rd Corps Support Command and his deployments include Somalia, Haiti, Kuwait, and two rotations in Iraq.

SFC Davis, Henry
Training NCO
SFC Henry Davis is from St. Louis, MO. And his military career started in Germany in 1985 as an artillery man. He served with 2nd BN 6th field artillery for two years. Upon completion of his tour in Germany he served 15 years at Ft. Hood, TX. He spent three years in 2nd armor division and the rest of his time in 1st Calvary division. He also spent three years as a recruiter in Houston, TX.
SFC Davis attended his basic course at Ft. Hood on august 1990 were he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He also attended his advance course at ft. Sill, OK on November 2003 as a honor graduate. On 13 march 2004 he deployed to Iraq as a platoon sergeant of headquarters platoon, A Battery 1st Battalion 82nd Field Artillery 1st Cav Div.

SFC Tisdale, Shane T.
Administrative Technician
Personal: Happily married, active in his faith, and volunteering coaching youth sports in the community back in his home of Lansing, Michigan, especially in wrestling, which he still personally competes at. SFC Tisdale is a Veteran, proud to have been able to serve, and led. He is active in physical training, previously making the Post Marathon Team for Ft. Lee, Virginia in 2005, activated to try out for the allusive All Army Wrestling Team in 2002 for the Army’s WCAP (World Class Athlete Program), and firing usually every year in competition for the Governor’s 20 – 9mm pistol competition.

Stella Switala
Department Secretary
Stella joined the staff of the Military Science & Leadership department, as the university secretary, in November 2000, after 12 ½ years as a secretary in the Dean’s Office of the College of Technology. She and her husband, Jim, are the parents for four grown daughters, and have one grandchild. She has several hobbies; among them are tole painting and water gardening. She’s always willing to show you pictures of her pond, pets, and granddaughter.
