LTC Stephen L. Knotts
Professor of Military Science
B.A. - Xavier University, 1990
M.A. - Webster University, 2003
Branch: Logistics
Majors: History and Secondary Education: Information Systems Management
LTC Knotts is the Battalion Commander and MSIV instructor. Graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate in May 1990, he began his active duty career in January 1991 in the Field Artillery and branch detailed to Ordnance Corps in 1993. He has served in a variety of command and staff positions at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii including a deployment to Operation Uphold Democracy (Haiti); Fort Hood, Texas; Ohio University, Athens, Ohio; Fort Sheridan, Illinois; Heidelberg and Wiesbaden, Germany which included two deployments to Operation Iraqi Freedom (Kuwait). LTC Knotts has been the Professor of Military Science at the Panther Battalion since June 2009.

CPT Thomas Taylor
Enrollment & Scholarship Officer
B.B.A. – Austin Peay State University, 2003
Branch: Signal
Major: Finance
CPT Taylor is the Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO). He was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Signal Corps and branch detailed Chemical Corps in 2003. He has served in a variety of Active Duty positions in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii with the 25th Infantry Division including two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
CPT Taylor has been with the Panther Battalion since September 2008.

MSG John Boxrucker
Senior Military Instructor
B.S. - Franklin University, 2009
MSG Boxrucker is the Senior Military Instructor and the MSIII instructor. He entered service in 1983 and has served two tours with the 82nd Airborne, worked as a recruiter, and served as a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Knox. He has served in Japan, Philippines, Panama, Operations Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom and Alaska (Stryker Brigade). MSG Boxrucker has been with the Panther Battalion since July 2007.

SFC Anthony Hoh
Military Science Instructor
SFC Hoh is the Panther Battalion Training NCO. He entered the service in 1992 and has served at Ft. Campbell Ky, Dahlonega Georgia, Camp Hovey South Korea, Ft Bragg NC, with two operational deployments to Afghanistan Operation Enduring Freedom III as a Weapons Squad Leader and OEFVII as an Advisor to the Afghan National Army. SFC Hoh has been with the Panther Battalion since February 2009.

SFC Angie Ison
Military Science Instructor
B.A. - CUNY Queens College, 1994
M.S. - Eastern Illinois University, 2008
SFC Ison serves as a Military Science Instructor and instructs MSIs. She entered the military in 1990 in the Quartermaster Corps. She has served in a variety of units in New York and Illinois including a deployment to Iraq in 2003. SFC Ison has been with the Panther Battalion since April 2008.

Mr. Webber
Supply Technician
Mr. Webber is the Battalion Supply Technician. He supports the logistics for all training events. He enlisted in the military in 1983 and retired in October 2005. He has served in a variety of locations to include: Ft. Lee, Ft. Bragg, Ft. Sill, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. Mr. Webber has been with the Panther Battalion since June 2008.

Ms. Sanders is the Office Manager and has been a part of the Panther Battalion since June 2007.

Mr. Bret Rogowitz
Human Resources Technician
B.S. - Franklin University, 2006
Mr. Rogowitz is the Battalion’s Administrative Manager and works with both Cadets and Cadre in support of the program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. He is a Veteran that served from 1988 to 2008 with his last assignment being Eastern Illinois University as the Senior Military Instructor. He has served in numerous positions and duty locations that include Ft. Bliss and Ft. Hood, Texas; Ft. Drum, NY; Ft. Polk, LA; Ft. Ord, CA; South Korea; and Haiti. Mr. Rogowitz has been with the Panther Battalion since October 2005.
