Etiquette Dinner

The dinner was held by the Family Consumer Sciences department on campus, and was set up to teach people the proper etiquette of not only eating but also how to properly enter into a conversation (already being held), and what topics were okay to discuss and what topics were not.

Cadet Alexander

Alpha Company Commander/Public Affairs Officer

CDT Alexander is a MSIV and plans to graduate and commission in the spring of 09.  She is from Decatur, Illinois and transferred from Lakeland Community College.  She is in her second and final year at both Eastern Illinois University and the ROTC program.  Her major is Communication Studies; she is involved in LEC (Leadership and Excellence Club) and was branched Quartermaster Corps.








Cadet Andries

Battalion Commander

CDT Andries is a MSIV and plans to graduate in the summer of 2009 with a degree Communications and a minor in Military Science.  He is from Oswego, Illinois and has recently been branched into the Corps of Engineers.  He as been a student of Eastern Illinois University for four years, but a member of the ROTC program for the last three years.  He is involved in the Leadership and Excellence Club and the sketch comedy group “Lunch Box Voodoo.” 








Cadet Catalla

Battalion S1

CDT Catalla is a MSIV and plans to graduate in the spring of 2009 with a degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Military Science.  He is from Vernon Hills, Illinois and has been in the ROTC program and at Eastern Illinois University for the past four years.  He is the Events Coordinator for the Leadership and Excellence Club and was recently branched Field Artillery.








Cadet Gosa

Battalion S4

CDT Gosa is a MSIV who plans to graduate in 2009 with a degree in Recreation Administration.  He is from Port Byron, Illinois and has been in the ROTC and at Eastern Illinois University for the past two and a half years.  He was branched Field Artillery and will serve with his current National guard unit,  the 2-123 Field Artillery Battalion.








Cadet Lanthrip

First Sergeant

CDT Lanthrip is an MS IV who plans to graduate in the spring of 2009 with a degree in Two Dimensional Art.  She is from Hillsboro, IL and has been at Eastern Illinois University and in the ROTC program for the last four years.








Cadet Lindeman

Battalion XO

CDT Lindeman is a MSIV and plans to graduate in the spring of 2009 with a major in Theatre Arts.  He is from Oak Lawn, Illinois and was recently branched Active Duty Infantry.  He is currently in the National Guard assigned to Bravo Company, 2/130 Infantry Battalion.  He is involved both on campus and in ROTC.  He has been involved the Ranger Challenge team, the Leadership and Excellence Club, and Scabbard and Blade.  He was in the university theatre arts productions of “Arsenic and Old Lace,” “The Crucible,” and “Media.”  He is also a member of Alpha Phi Omega honors fraternity.








Cadet Tribby

Battalion S-5

CDT Tribby is a MSIV who plans to graduate in the fall of 2009 with a degree in Geography.  He is from Kansas, Illinois and was recently branched Armor into the Illinois National Guard.  He graduated from Lakeland Community college in 2002 and has since been involved in various activities from the Geosciences Club and Paleontological Society of America to the Kansas Volunteer Ambulance and the Clark Country ESDA Search and Rescue.  He is currently assigned to the 2-130 Infantry Battalion. 








Cadet Webster

Battalion S-3

CDT Webster is a MSIV and plans to graduate in 2009 with a degree in Political Science.  He has been at Eastern Illinois University and in the ROTC program for the last four years.  He is also a member of the Leadership and Excellence Club.  He is in the National Guard assigned to the 1644th Transportation Battalion, with whom he previously deployed before joining ROTC.








Cadet Casey

CDT Casey is a History major from Naperville, IL.  She is involved in Leadership and Excellence Club and a member of the Illinois National Guard. 








Cadet Durbin

CDT Durbin is a Business Management major from Decatur, IL.  Aside from ROTC he is involved in Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity and the Illinois National Guard assigned to Bravo Company 2/130 Infantry Battalion.








Cadet Gensler

CDT Gensler is a Recreation Management major from Gurnee, IL.  She is also involved in the EIU REC Club.








Cadet Holden

CDT Holden is a Psychology major from Posen, IL.  He is also involved in Leadership & Excellence Club, Lacrosse, Belegarth, Thomas Hall Council.








Cadet Jenkins

CDT Jenkins is a Communications major and considers both Lytham, England and Fairbanks, Alaska home.  She is also a member of the Eastern Illinois University Division 1 Women’s Rugby team, and the sketch comedy group "Lunch Box Voodoo."








Cadet Leveque

CDT Leveque is a Psychology major from Bourbonnais, IL.  She is also takes part in LEC (Leadership Excellence Club), Psychology Club, Habitat 4 Humanity, Salvation Army, SACIS (Sexual Assault Counseling Information Services), Alternative Spring Break, " I Sing the Body Electric"  (I am a Youth Mentor).  She is also a member of the Illinois National Guard.  








Cadet McLennand

CDT McLennand is a communication studies major from Champaign, IL.  In addition to ROTC, he is involved in ROTC Rifle Team, Thomas Hall Council and Exec Board VP, ROTC Ranger Challenge. Currently in Leadership Excellence Club and ROTC Color Guard.

 








Cadet Nemecz

CDT Nemecz is a General Studies major from Oakwood, IL.  He is a member of the Illinois National Guard assigned to Bravo Company 634th Brigade Support Battalion in Champaign, IL.

 








Cadet Paetz

CDT Paetz is a Psychology major from Chicago, IL.

 








Cadet Spear

CDT Spear is a Recreation Administration major from Hoopeston, IL.  He is involved in Color Guard and a member of the Illinois National Guard assigned to the 233rd Military Police Company in Springfield, IL.
