“While it takes a little commitment, ROTC is highly worthwhile and prepares me well for my future. I have a normal life as a student here. And I also get a chance to better myself as a person by becoming a leader. It doesn’t take me away from my normal life. ROTC doesn’t take time away from my family and friends. In fact, I look forward to ROTC during the week since many of the people who have become good friends are cadets themselves. It’s a great experience overall.”

Stand Out From The Rest

See how interesting college can be when you're a part of Army ROTC. You'll be a college student first and foremost, just like the rest of the student body, but there's a key difference: you'll have even more opportunities to succeed.

These opportunities include Field Training Exercises (FTXs) in the spring and fall where Cadets build their teamwork and leadership skills. Cadets also participate in Physical Training (PT) on a regular basis to keep up their strength and endurance.

In addition, each battalion has its own unique calendar of events and activities.

As a Titan Battalion cadet…

…you’ll be in the company of a diverse group of individuals. Titan Battalion cadets have come from several states, countries, and backgrounds, of all walks of life. Most are outstanding students, athletes, and are readily engaged in their community. We have cadets that serve as student leadership, community volunteers, athletes, and fraternity and sorority members. They are club presidents, and are outstanding cadets concurrent to their status on being on Deans’ Lists. They have countless hobbies, dreams, and differing outlooks in life. They major in business, fine art, political science, biology, physics, and all the other fields and disciplines of the Cal State Fullerton campus—all the while maintaining their status as scholars-athletes-leaders. From scuba divers to surfers and artists, Titan Battalion cadets are a diverse group of dedicated individuals.
