Lieutenant Colonel Shepard

Professor of Military Science & Leadership

An Ohio native, serves as the Battalion Commander and MS IV Chief Instructor. Background in Infantry and Special Forces. Combat Veteran, Overseas Service - Japan, Korea, Panama, Saudi Arabia (Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm)








Captain Takacs

Assistant Professor of Military Science & Leadership

Captain Takacs serves as the Battalion Executive Officer and MS III Primary Instructor. He is an Ohio native, Infantry Officer and Combat Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom He also served 2 tours in Korea, and 1 tour in Germany.








Major Gibson

Enrollment and Scholarship Officer

Major Gibson Reserve Engineer Officer a native of Columbus, OH, and an alumnus of Capital University's Army ROTC.








Master Sergeant Stinson

Senior Military Instructor

Senior Military Instructor and MS-II Chief Instructor.  Overseas service includes 1 tour in Egypt, 1 tour in Hawaii and 3 deployments to Korea for training.








Sergeant First Class Arvan

Operations NCO

Sergeant First Class Arvan serves as the Operations NCO. He is an Infantryman, and Combat veteran of Operation Just Cause in Panama.








Mr. Shelby

Logistics Technician

Sergeant First Class (Retired), Mr. Shelby has an extensive background in logistics. Overseas service – Germany, Korea, Honduras, Bosnia, Kosovo








Mr. Pate

Human Resource Administrator

Sergeant First Class (retired), A Columbus, OH native, Mr. Pate has an extensive background in Human Resources & Personnel Administration, Overseas Service - 2 Tours Germany
