ASSIGNMENTS:
Major Ted Leblow received a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and
graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Oregon
Army ROTC Battalion, at which time he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in
the United States Army in June of 1992. MAJ Leblow also holds a Masters of
Business Administration from Touro University International. Major Leblow
entered active duty in June of 1992 at the home of Army Aviation at Fort
Rucker, Alabama. He graduated as the honor graduate of the Rotary Wing Aviator
Course and Officer Basic Course and was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 6th
Cavalry at Fort Hood, Texas. While stationed at Fort Hood he served as the
Attack Platoon Leader and later as the Troop Commander for Alpha Troop. The 3rd
Squadron, 6th Cavalry was then mobilized for a unit movement to the Republic of
South Korea where Major Leblow served as the Battalion S2 at Camp Humphreys,
Korea. After attending the Aviation Officer Advanced Course and the Combined
Arms and Services Staff School he was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division at
Fort Stewart, Georgia. While stationed at Fort Stewart he served as the Alpha
Company Commander, Battalion S1 and Battalion Assistant S3 for the 1st
Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment. During this assignment the Battalion was
mobilized and deployed to Kuwait for six months in support of Operation Desert
Thunder. Upon completion of Company Command MAJ Leblow was nominated for and
received an assignment as an exchange officer with the Singapore Air Force.
While stationed in Singapore he served as a unit trainer, advisor and
maintenance officer in the Singapore Air Force Red Hawk Battalion flying the
AS-550 Fennec scout helicopter. After returning from Singapore MAJ Leblow was
assigned to the Center for Army Lessons Learned at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
During this assignment he was attached to the 101st Airborne Division in
support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as the G3 Air for the
Assault Command Post. Upon returning from Iraq and completion of the Command
and General Staff College he was assigned to the 2-101st Aviation Regiment at
Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he served as the Battalion S3 and Executive
Officer and was again deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and
returned from Mosul, Iraq in January 2006. He began his assignment as Professor
of Military Science with the Brigham Young University Army ROTC Program 23 May
2006.

James Arguello was raised in the Ogden/Layton area of Utah. He
graduated from Weber High School, Ogden, UT in 1968 and joined the U.S. Army a
year later in October 1969. Mr. Arguello while on active duty was trained
as a Wheeled Vehicle Repairman and an Antiarmor Infantryman. His duty
positions included Motor Sergeant, Infantry Squad Leader, Antiarmor Platoon
Leader and Antiarmor Company First Sergeant. Mr. Arguello served in
various stateside military posts and overseas in Germany, Korea and
Vietnam. His final assignment on active duty was Senior Army Instructor,
Army ROTC, Brigham Young University from August 1989 to October 1993. Mr.
Arguello retired from active duty with the U.S. Army in October 1993 with 24
years time in service. He returned to employment with the Military
Science Department in August 1994 as the Supply Assistant. In April 1997 Mr
Arguello was hired as the Bn Supply Technician.

Darlene F. Burgi

Mrs. Burgi's father was in the Navy at the time of her birth in Chicago,
IL. She was raised in Morgantown, Kentucky. Darlene earned a BS in
Child Development and Family Relations from Brigham Young University in
1966. A week after graduation from BYU Darlene married, moved to Chula
Vista, California and began raising a family. She also resumed schooling toward
earning a teaching certificate at San Diego State University. In 1969 the
family moved to Kentucky where Darlene completed her certification at Western
Kentucky University in Bowling Green, while she taught third grade at
Morgantown Elementary from August 1969 to May 1972. She then retired to
the home and was a full time wife and mother for eleven years. In 1983
Darlene returned to Western Kentucky University to earn a Master's Degree in
Elementary Education. During this time she was a graduate assistant
serving in the audio-visual lab--training teaching majors in the use and care
of audio-visual equipment. After receiving her Master's Degree in
Elementary Education in 1984, Darlene substituted in the Kentucky Christian
County School District for two years. In 1986, due to divorce and a move
to Provo, Darlene decided to change careers and she began secretarial training
at UVSC. She wanted to work at BYU and in December of 1986 she was hired
as the Department Secretary for Army ROTC. Darlene is the mother of 7
children (six sons and one daughter)--one son died a few minutes after
birth. She is expecting her 12th grandchild 16 Nov 2006.

Laura L. Leseberg

Laura was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended BYU and met her
future husband in Air Force ROTC -- after he commissioned, but before he was
sent to pilot training. During the course of 23+ years of Air Force
assignment, they acquired 3 daughters and a son, and lived in Arizona; New
Jersey; Illinois; Northern California; Ramstein, Germany; Southern California,
New Mexico, and Nevada. The family retired to Utah in 1997. Laura
began working in Army ROTC for BYU in April of 2001. Mel and Laura are
the grandparents of two perfect children.

CIVILIAN AWARDS:
Commander’s Award for Civilian Service
Mr. McLaughlin's military service includes the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Air
Force Reserve, and the U.S. Army Reserve. He retired from the U.S. Army
Reserve in 2005. From 1979 to 1981 he performed church missionary service
in the Philippines Davao Mission. His Federal civil service began in 1986
as a temporary employee for the U.S. Immigration Service, and then for the U.S.
Air Force. From late 1986 to 1992 he was employed as a Reserve Technician
in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 1st Bn 410th Infantry located in Iowa City,
Iowa. In this capacity he served as a Unit Administrator and Staff
Administrative Assistant. Mr. McLaughlin began his employment with the
Army ROTC Department at Brigham Young University in September 1992.
