Cadet Zak

Cadet Battalion Commander

Cadet David Zak is a Business Administration major from Lenexa, KS. He attended the Leadership Development Assessment Course this summer in Fort Lewis, WA where he was ranked second in his PLT and earned the RECONDO badge. Following advance camp David attended Cadet Troop Leadership Training in Fort Bragg, NC. He shadowed a Company Commander in a combat aviation battalion.

David hopes to branch Armor when he graduates, and is looking forward to being a Platoon Leader.








Cadet Axten

Cadet Executive Officer

Cadet Kellen Axten is a mechanical engineering major from Clifton Park, NY. Last summer he attended the Leadership Development Assessment Course in Fort Lewis, Washington where he scored third in his regiment and earned the RECONDO badge. He followed up LDAC with a Cadet Troop Leadership Training rotation in Fort Bragg, NC, where he shadowed a first lieutenant with an airborne recon platoon.








Cadet Markiewicz

Cadet Operations Officer

Cadet Bryce Markiewicz is a Psychology major from Arvada, CO. This past summer, Cadet Markiewicz attended the Leadership Development Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, where he placed second in his platoon and earned the RECONDO badge. He also participated in the Cadet Troop Leading Course where he shadowed a platoon leader in the First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood. Cadet Markiewicz has been a member of the National Society of Scabbard and Blade since Spring 2006.
